1. Marina Bay

The main attraction of Singapore and the symbol of the city is Marina Bay Sands. This is a hotel, which consists of 3 towers, with a gondola or ship terrace located on them. On the terrace, there is a garden, an open-air pool with no visible sides and an observation deck. Only hotel guests can enter the pool. Marina Bay also houses a casino declared to be the most expensive casino in the world. Be sure to go up to the observation deck, the view from there is just breath-taking. In the evening in front of Marina Bay, there is a water-light and music performance.

Right after Marina Bay, there is a park complex that consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden. Gardens by the Bay has been a strategical environmental government project that aimed at enhancing green areas of Singapore. The main objects are 18 giant futuristic "trees" with a height of 25–50 m, they are also called "Avatar Gardens", as well as 2 huge biodomes.

Interestingly, the trees that look like real are ecological power plants ("supertree") built of steel frames with live plants planted on them. Between the central trees, there is a panoramic OCBC Skyway bridge at an altitude of 22 m, which can be climbed for a fee.

One more interesting attraction can be found inside Gardens by the Bay is the Cloud Forest. This is a small area (0.8 ha) with recreated cool humid conditions that can be found in tropical mountainous areas between 1000 m (3300 ft) and 3000 m (9800 ft) above the sea level in Southeast Asia, Central and South America.
